Here's an article about a new program started to help get past sell by (note- not expired- the two are very different) meat into the hands of not only zoos, shelters, and exotic animal owners, but your everyday, average dog and cat lover that feeds raw. VERY exciting.

ReplyDeleteDepending on how great of a success it is and when the kinks get worked out (this is new for them too) it will likely spread to Canada.

ReplyDeleteAlthough local butchers do mince and freeze stuff close to day especially for pets, I would rather buy it whole!
